Toyota Land Cruiser Smart Entry System
When the key holder is around 70cm from the vehicle, the Toyota Land Cruiser Smart Entry system uses wireless technology to allow the locking and unlocking of the vehicle’s doors by use of the electronic key fob. The Smart Entry system also allows the driver to start the vehicle’s engine without the need to insert the key.

The Smart Entry system uses a combination or warning lights and audible alerts to indicate a possible problem or maintenance issue. The possible combination of warning lights and audible alerts are as follows:

Action: Touch the electronic key to the engine switch while depressing the brake pedal (automatic transmission) or clutch pedal (manual transmission). |
