Tesla Dashboard Warning Lights

Tesla is a car manufacturer based in Austin, Texas that has been producing a range of popular battery electric cars and SUVs since 2003. Just as cars with a traditional internal combustion engine, modern electric cars have a range of dash warning lights and symbols.

If your model of Tesla is listed, a guide to the various warning lights and symbols will be shown, along with the symbol meaning. Most symbols, often green, blue or grey in color are used to provide information to the driver.

Orange, amber or yellow symbols are typically used to inform the driver of a minor fault, or that a system, usually safety related, has been manually switched off, when by default, it’s on. Red symbols are the most urgent and can be used to warn of a safety issue or fault that requires the drivers immediate attention.
