Smart Car Dashboard Warning Lights
The 2 seater Smart Car was first introduced in 1998 in the form of the Smart Fortwo. Owner Daimler then went on to manufacture a 4 seat variant, the Smart Forfour and later an electric version of the Fortwo and Forfour.
Dashboard warning lights are used to inform the driver that a system or utility is running, has been turned off, a maintenance issue or a fault.
If a warning light illuminates on your Smart dashboard and you’re unsure what it is, it’s advisable to to stop as soon as it’s safely possible and investigate the warning. This is particularly important if the warning light is red.
