Audi Q5 Tyre Pressure Reset

Audi Q5 tyre / tire pressure monitoring system uses the ABS sensors to determine if the pressure in one or more tyres has reduced. If a loss of pressure occurs, the tyre pressure loss warning light illuminates Audi Q5 Tyre Pressure Loss Symbol

Tyre pressures should ideally be checked at least once each month and when the tyre is cold. A ‘cold’ tyre is defined by the vehicle not being driven for at least 3 hours or if the vehicle has been driven, then by no more than mile (1.6 km) and at a moderate speed.

If you have altered the pressure in one or more tyres or if you have changed a wheel due to the tyre pressure loss warning light coming on, the tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) must be reset.

If you do not reset the TPMS and store the new pressure values, the system may not function accurately and fail to warn in the event of a loss of pressure. Alter tyre pressures in accordance to the tyre pressure label located inside the driver’s door on the ‘B’ pillar. Once this is done, store the new pressure values in the Audi Q5 infotainment system.
